These same team in 2 straight games is f***ing stupid

Probably teams close by are playing each other in a row.

 

Less travel is safer, no?

Whoever decided it prioritized public health over skewed records. All teams still play by the same rules.

 

Limited crowds, shortened schedule. There will likely be plenty of instances of players sitting out due to possible exposure, or games being rescheduled. I think the Raptors are playing home games in Florida? There's a lot of carry-over weirdness from last season.

 

What moron that can't understand that the main reason for them keep playing this coming season even when a deadly pandemic is going on,

is because of the huge TV contract that they need to fulfill.

What else you are going to complain? Can't find the popcorn vendor in the arena anymore?

I actually kinda like it . Chance for adjustments to shine .. maybe more parity . If you get your ass beat by 30 you get to take it out on the same team next game , not your poor next opponent .

No idea how this will change records . Does make home/away a bit more important maybe .. and injury luck / sequencing more dramatic .

im for baseball style games where you play the same team 2-4 times in a row before moving to the next

 

2 times in a row I can handle, all 4 games in a row would be overkill in anything less than the playoffs. Simple as that, I can't see the Rockets play the Kings or the like 4 times in a row.
