I was looking at the list from nbatalk and there were no players on the list who we would even think about bringing in if Mobes leaves. Someone posted that Drew could back up Shandon but that would be inviting all 2 guards to 10 or 15 minutes of relentless drives to the rack. Does anybody have any idea of what the Rockets might try to do? I saw that Kris Clack is playing for Boston in a summer league. I say that we sign him if he doesn't make the Celts squad. I have not seen him play for awhile, but he is a Mario Elie clone (6'5'', strong, defensive minded). I wanted us to draft him so bad a couple of years back just as a defensive stopper. He would be cheap and could pay off if he returned to the form of his early UT days. That aside, who might we be looking at? Wahad? Anderson? Mercer (could start at 3 and spell Shandon)?

Former TT Red Raider Mark Davis would be a decent replacement for Mobes. He had 25 points and 12 rebounds in one game in April. He is a free agent and could come cheap. He is a 6'7 SG/SF type who plays great defense.
