According to IamaGM there are more players angry with mchale could it be Martin, Morris, who else could be pissed http://www.iamagm.com/news/2012/05/27/more.rockets.players.unhappy.kevin.mchale
What a shock.......the next Carmelo and Martin.....players who greatly under performed, were injured, or both are the ones with a problem!!
While Mchale isnt the answer, the players should look in the mirror because all them could stand to improve. Not a star amongst them. All of them had a hand in gagging down the stretch.
this is the fall out with the fail trade... disgruntled players....Lowry is an option is crazy... they need to trade asap Lowry Martin Scola
Is this really thread worthy? We all know Martin was pouting all year after the Gasol trade and that Morris wasn't happy going to the d-league.
You can really tell that all players being happy makes a difference. I mean, just compare our record when everyone is happy vs our record when some players are sad. Obviously, a team can't possibly operate when there are underperforming players complaining about lack of PT. Spoiler /sarcasm
Yes, but that doesn't matter. We didn't make the playoffs, choked big time at the end, everyone got pissed at each other, and our pick sucks. Mediocrity again. Nothing to celebrate.
I guess in hindsight firing a player's favorite type of coach with a pedigree and replacing him with a "figurehead" stooge on the heels of a lockout was a recipe for a chemistry disaster.
So let me make sure I know what you're saying here. In 2011, the Rocket had a great coach, with great team chemistry, everyone happy, and ended up just missing the playoffs. In 2012, the Rockets have a horrible coach, with horrible team chemistry, everyone pissed off, and ended up just missing the playoffs. I must say, Morey is a freaking magician. Because I certainly didn't see all the star players we brought in last offseason that can offset such a huge difference in coaching and all the injuries we suffered this year.
I couldn't give two ***** about the chemistry of this team. I'm upset they didn't fall apart before the season started. We needed to hit the reset button at the beginning of last season. No need to cry over role players b****ing. Blow it up.
martin? he should be happy. he rested his injury-prone body and got paychecks. what did he complain about?
I was shocked at the McHale hiring to begin with. Not a successful coach and a failure of a GM to boot. Great post player back in the day, but didn't seem like a great hire. I think he did an average job but this looks really bad
