a couple years ago. the last year of the astrodome. when they had alot of old vintage astros merchandise being sold. i go and i buy the old blue stros cap with the orange star and the H. and i wear it and love it and what not. but i look at it, and i think to myself. if i could design a cap, i would take this design but make everything black. in other words. the cap black, the H black and the star black, like ive seen done to some of the other designs, yankees indians, the mainstream hats.. eventually i lost that cap in a car accident.. so i go to the mall the other day, this has been a couple years since i had that idea. and i go into Lids. and im looking around.. and my jaw drops. there it is... all black old school astros cap. black star black H all black, fitted. i had to have it, so i bought it... everyone ever seen this cap before? its perfect. i just bought an expos cap though, so now i cant decide what to where when... anyone who wears or doesnt wear procaps? whats your favorite major league baseball cap? (youre not allowed to say the yankees even if its your favorite.)
Holden, you seem like the haapiest person in the world by your post but then you frown, weird. Well I love my red 'stros, the ones on the field!
Lemme get this straight... Black hat, black star, black "H"- wouldn't that just be a plain black hat? Are there different shades of black?
Dude...I may sound frooti for posting this... I've been looking for a 'Stros "unstructured" cap...one where the logo doesn't pop out the front. DAMMIT! I NEED THIS CAP! Stupid Minute Maid Park sells em for 25 bucks...I ain't dishin' that out! END OF RANT. edit: man...i really suck
1. black astros hat with red/orange star -- today's hat.. 2. white texans adjustable hat 3. red fitted rockets hat with old logo...people stop me all the time and ask me where i got it...the answer is 1993!
I used to have an old Houston Rockets draft cap that I loved to wear. I think it might have been the 97 draft cap...It was blue with a wide red stripe going down the front of the cap & the bill.
