that's pretty cool. don't have the iphone yet > i am waiting on the next iteration before i jump on. as for now, i bought the harmony 890 and i can now pretty much control my whole setup. the signal software will come in handy if i'm watching a ballgame or something and want to listen to and control music in the background. thanks for the link, this is cooler than the salling clicker.
that's pretty much my modus operandi for any sports viewing- turn off tv sound and listen to tunes. the harmony (which i have) is not great for that.
The Sqeezebox Duet looks pretty nice, also. Link It has a 2.5" LCD on the remote, and can control any Squeezebox.
actually, i'm using a mac mini with the tv as the monitor. i got sick and tired of having to whip out the bluetooth keyboard and mouse to listen to music. i have an older mac mini so i had to buy an aftermarket IR receiver connected via usb and enable front row. now i have one controller that allows me to switch between tv and music with ease. i can even see the selections better from afar with front row as well. i'm loving it for now.
