Im all for trading for howard and the garbage contracts as long as we dont trade DMo and lamb im also assuming we get lin after the Ny trade Howard DMO Turkoglu Lamb Lin
We don't have any untouchables for Howard. There's just some vague line where it's "too much to give up". We can't completely gut the entire team for him and take back a bunch of bad contracts. Motiejunas is not untouchable, but if you were giving him up you wouldn't want to give up much else, because he looks really good right now. Lamb is even less "untouchable", but he's still one of our better pieces, so if the Magic are getting Lamb they're probably not getting a bunch of other pieces.
Just about the only untouchable would be Lin because he can't be traded based on NBA rules. I guess for a few more weeks D-Mo is also untouchable. My hope is that this deal would get done before D-Mo would be eligible for trade.
T. Jones, Lamb, Parsons, and D-Mo can stay.. the rest can go although i wanna see Patterson one more time before i make a final decision
D.Mo is not playing well this game, the only constant is Lamb.. his game translates better to the NBA right now than D.Mo. D.Mo too me is looking like a best case of Memhet Okur( prime with the jazz)
actually since he's a rookie on his first contract, he can be dealt 30 days after he's signed... so we're looking at mid august as the earliest he can be traded, but its definitely not December.
Rockets aint making the playoffs this year homer, I think its a rebuild with Lin. Lin Lamb Parson Motijie Asik Which to me looks like a really good rebuild team, which next year might suprise some people. They sign Bynum in 2013 they are rolling big time.
I just hope you don't trade Donatas to the Lakers in some weird Bynum-Howard-Pau deal, I don't like the Lakers forums too much.
the reason we are trading for Howard on a 1 year deal is because this team has literally no untouchables.
Lamb and Parsons are the only untouchables trade anybody else Lin, Lamb, Parsons, and Dwight will have a little bit of everything to bring fans to Toyota Center
