Paul George isn't coming to Houston. We basically know that much. No one really knows what LeBron is or is not thinking. Well.. no one, that is, except for Four Entertainment Industry Sources.
4 out of 6 SI Staff picks Lebron to the Lakers https://www.si.com/nba/2018/06/13/lebron-james-nba-free-agency-cavaliers-lakers-76ers-spurs
^ So let me get this straight...LeBron along with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard (who no one knows is healthy or not) along with 12 minimum contracts could challenge the Warriors?? Really?? Only one thing I have to say about that:
There seems to be a lot of smoke coming out of LA with Lebron.... and where there's smoke.... Idk, not feeling so confident anymore. Sucks too cause I hate the freakin Lakers. Most insufferable fan base in all of sports.
Well, the last time the lakers had a super team was 12/13 when I thought the Dwight, Kobe, Nash combo was gonna win 65 games.
LeBron + Paul George and Ball/Kuzma is roughly on par with his existing Cavs team comprised of Love, Korver, Thompson, and Hood.
Lebron's oldest isn't even old enough to go to high school yet.. Isn't he going to 8th grade... This squashes this whole argument.... Boy are people so gullible! I prefer PG13! less drama
The one thing that I tend to forget about LeBron is that whereever he goes that team is molded to be LeBron's team. Yea it's a Captain Obvious moment but what if: 1. The Lakers trade Brandon Ingram, Luol Deng, a 1st Rounder for CJ McCollum 2. LeBron signs for the max 3. Paul George signs for the max They would effectively have a team of: PG: Ball SG: McCollum SF: George PF: LeBron C: 6th: Kuzma 7th: Hart They would only need to find a warm body at the 4/5 to be the starting center. Fill out the bench with role players. Ball's defense helps mask McCollum's deficiency on that end and CJ's offense and shooting would complement Ball's passing. If Lonzo's shot ever translates next year, that's 3 players (Ball, McCollum, George) on the court with LeBron that can shoot from the perimeter...basically an elite version of his Cavs' team on offense. Then you still have Kuzma and Hart coming off the bench as above average players.
