One of the joys of League Pass is having the opportunity to watch the dregs of the league, teams that will never be on national TV. Who do you feel is the worst team in the league? Who will finish with the worst record? My opinion: The worst team in the league is the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are not only putrid but extremely boring to watch. The team with the worst record at season's end will be Memphis, although with White Choco and Pau Gasol, at least they're a little entertaining. I think Chicago will win about 25 games. Your thoughts?
I agree with your selections but I have one that is a surprise for this year......the sixers. They lost many of the players to other teams and have added Speedy Claxton. I think they're falling apart.
My pick is the Bulls to be the worst -- popular, I know. Runner up, I'm still picking Denver. Vancouver will be better than they are getting credit for, imo.
From what I've seen so far, the Cavs would definitely qualify as one of the NBA's worst. IMHO, the worst record will go to the Grizz as they basically play the WC teams 4 times while the Cavs and Bulls only have to do it twice.
Must have hit a nerve......my bad. We'll talk again at the all star break and see how the Bulls are re....progressing.
Ya know, GB, I find it hard to believe that even you would insult someone for picking the Bulls as the worse team in the NBA. I actually don't think they are. Cleveland gets that honor in my book. But it's not like there isn't a really, really good case for Chicago. I mean... Mercer and Miller aren't horrible... but it's unlikely that the rooks will have much of an impact yet. What's there to like, so far?
I guess all you people who said the Bulls suck are eating your words now....... Honestly I can't wait to read what he comes up with to spin this loss.
Da Bulls just got molested by a pack of Wolves. Da Bulls must be into beastiality... Before tonight, I thought Cleveland was the worst team, they are lucky to score more than 80 ppg. Now, Chi takes the cake. There is no excuse to fold like a cheap tent, and lose by 50+ points. The Comets could have beaten them tonight. The Bulls are the worst team away from the ball I've ever seen, on both ends of the court. On offense, no one really moves (kinda like the Rocks) so it ends up being some ugly shot or a 20 ft jumper from Oakley. Defensively, the Bulls only guard the man with the ball. The other team can move to whatever spot on the court they want and hit easy 15 ft jumpers all night long. Tim Floyd is a horrible coach and needs to teach the Bulls some damn fundamentals.
Waiting for Eddie Robinson to return from IR in a couple of days, Artest in a couple of months and Crawford in March. Until then we're limping along. We don't have our starting PG and there isn't even a true small forward on the roster with Artest and Robinson out. And, imho, Floyd is playing the young guys too much. There was a lot of bickering yesterday about that. They sat throughout the crucial parts of the win against NY and Floyd hasn't done that since. I've seen 'em play--I know the team and I know the NBA. When he plays his vets and gives the young guys spot duty---with Robinson and Artest back---we're not as bad as everyone thinks. And we're not the worst in the league. How we bounce back and what happens from here will say a lot about Floyd. He gets a lot of kudos from other coaches in the league---but I wonder if he can hold the team togather when the vets specifically warned that this would happen if he kept playing the young guys over the vets.
I watched part of this game, and I don't remember seeing a team look so out of control and in total disarray. Even simple things like perimeter passing looked difficult. This was an ugly game. A total contrast to the way they played NY. Strange. I am hesitant to say this, but I don't think the Bulls are as bad as they were last night. I am just not sure what the heck was going on.
The CAVS is the worst team in the NBA. No doubt. Maybe the Bulls are a co-winner here! Actually, the Bulls are better than what they showed last night. Just what happened to them last night is an unknown ...... the game was a total joke to me. Philly? Interesting pick! They might end up in the top 10 of the worst teams.
If you know so much about basketball, why are you following such a crap team? Ohh! That's right! The Bulls have a load of talent that will eventually get off the bottom of the Central. One day, that's if your intelligent GM who you must follow as well, doesn't trade them off for scrubs. Please, before you start dissin people about their IQ, prove yourself smart enough for such a comment. Talk for yourself before you talk for others.
I'm not going to just bang on the Bulls but come on! They can bring in Jamal Crawford, Ron Artest, Charles Oakley, Eddie Robinson, Glenn Robinson, David Robinson it doesn't matter. Unless they bring in a new coach and a new General Manager it really doesn't matter. That team is horrible. No true organization, lack of talent, no go-to guy (and no Mercer IS NOT a go-to guy), no depth, a bunch of kids playing basketball and an aging man up front who can only rebound. They'll get slightly better when Robinson and Crawford returns but they're the worse team in the NBA. Who are they better then? The Clippers? The Clippers have been on fire after Odom was suspended until they finally lost to the Blazers. Washington? Golden State? The Warriors aren't looking all that bad. Maybe Memphis, but the Grizzlies will get better. They have the talent. The fact that Krause hasn't been fired yet is criminal. He has destroyed that franchise with no hope in sight. That's not basketball, that's crap on a stick, get your tickets now! I'm just waiting for the Globetrotters to show up.
