I say they need to lower the goals to about 9 1/2 feet. Then we would get some action, and slam dunkin. But i doubt that would happen. I mean dydek would dunk without jumping.
I guess this could be a good idea. If everyone in the WNBA could dunk like the players in the NBA, maybe they wouldn't know the difference and watch it. "Did Kelvin Cato decide to put makeup on?" One problem I just thought of is the adjustment to world tournement goals. They probably would keep it the same because of those rules. Now, if we could get them to change their goals...
maybe the NBA should move the free throw line closer to the basket - then those over paid felons whose only move happens to be a dunk could actually make free throws.
I don't really care for the WNBA, but I still respect those ladies as players. They may not be exciting(why I don't watch) but they can play. Lowering the goals is a bad idea for 2 reasons. It's disrespectful to them and imagine having spent your whole life shooting and playing on a regular goal, all of the sudden you play on a lower goal, everything is gonna be out of sync. How do you adjust to a lower goal? Stupid idea in my opinion.
I say we lower the goals to about 9 feet and move the goals 30 feet closer to each other. Then we might come accross a high scoring game every once in a while!
