Gotta give it to my man Will. He has gotten me into the habit of looking at one particular player each game and analyzing his play. Last night, I focused on Shandon Anderson. And I did not like what I saw...offensively. Defensively, he quite possibly could be our best one-on-one defender. The guy is a quick, has quick hands, runs the floor and gets back on defense. The problem is that he can't shoot worth a damn and he misses too many easy layups. But, I think that Rudy T should go to him down low despite his offensive short comings. He seems to be taller than most at his position so why not exploit it? I could not figure out why he doesn't get more plays called for him. The only way to get him into the flow is to TRY and get him into the flow. But, like Pippen, he just stands there most of the time. When he gets the ball, he takes some UGLY shots. And he looks bad taking them. Still, I love his play. I really do. He is always in his defenders face. Hes intense. He plays hard. But we gotta get him more touches or have him play like Cedric Ceballos. This guy has way too much talent to waste. ------------------ Live Rocketball. Breathe Rocketball. Die with Rocketball.
yeah I like that thing Will said. Watch one player at a time. The last two games I have been watching Mobley. I love what I see in him. His only mistake is when he makes a few he goes wild shooting the rest. And he trys to be fancy sometimes. But what I love is the way he drives in, he is the best at that.
The thing about Shandon Anderson is that he has a great understanding of the game. He knows when to switch, how to help on defense, when to back away. I really have to give Sloan and his guys credit for teaching all of that.
