Seeing that our boy Noavk looks stronger and now has a year of play under his belt. Bringing in an offensive coach, what if Novak becomes a reagular in our rotation? Is he this years Jason Kapono? If so, does it even make a difference in the standings?

Cleo is back, she told me Novak hits the game winner in game 4 to solidify a sweep in next years Finals.

No but I do think if he has a good Summer League that he will play alot more this year, maybe 8-10 mins a game. Possibly more if he does really great. I don't expect him to avg more then 10 a game though

Novak needs to improve his D. Hopefully Battier worked with him over the summer on that. Also, he had no post game what so over. He still needs some work but hopefully he worked hard this summer.

I don't know, but if you get together with BBall Scientist, you may be able to come up with an answer :p

8-10 min/game is still end of the bench fodder. Even someone like Beno Udrich, who played regularly (70+ games), but isn't that key to the Spurs, got 13+mpg last year.

If you are part of the regular rotation, you get at least that.

I don't know how anybody knows if Novak is stronger, unless you're going off 1 picture from this BBS?

I hope we find a good PF. A PF so good that Novak never sees any playing time at the 4 position. Taking into account we have maybe the deepest swing position in the league (if Bonzi lives) then Novak's minutes should be down to 12 at the most. Therefore he could never make a Kapono like impact. Or Kapono like dollars.

I think it makes a bigger impact in some many different ways.

Novak gives up points with bad defense...okay, that's a given.

But he gives yao much more room to operate.

Yes the camera adds at least 5 pounds of muscle! Novak should be able to play for a coach like Adelman. If he can add more to his game and become a better overall player he'll get some minutes.

Thing is the Rockets keep adding players that can do more than just shoot at Novaks spots the 3 and 4, so he's losing ground on the roster.

I think Novak makes a better back-up SF than a PF. He would get killed by the powerhouses in the West (Duncan, Brand, Boozer, KG)
