You guys know that disclaimer that comes on before the Last Word? Rome doesn't seem like he's saying anything that Fox has to worry about, so why do they put that there? I'm fan of the Best Damn(Darn) Sports Show Period(as Bill Worrell calls it), but the things they say and do on there are far more deserving of a disclaimer than what Rome says. So that leads me to wonder, do they just put that there as an attempt to pique interest?
maybe rome himself had something to do with it, to make his "edgy" persona, style, and format appear more so than it is? I used to be a huge fan of BDSSP until the over commercialized it... it jumped the shark when they started having segments in an actual Quizno's restaurant and spending entire segments eating and discussing their sandwiches! Now they have a Mike's Hard Lemonade Bar and an Outback Steakhouse set... its just a commercial joke now... i only watch it if there's absolutely nothing else sports related that I want to watch on TV...
