at long last, i've finally typed-up my experience from a recent Rockets game. included in the write-up are 10 YouTube videos and about 20 pictures. once you look at the entry, you'll be able to tell what took me so long. i hope you all enjoy it. the night was EPIC, and i did the best i can (through my writing, pictures, and videos) to let you all experience that night, as well. thanks again to those that submitted poster ideas; there's a good chance there will be an encore performance by yours truly, so i might be needing your help again soon. i am posting the link to the write-up b/c it's too much hassle to do the embedding all over again, with there being so many pictures and videos. enjoy! http://www.xanga.com/djaesthetic786/692621217/the-view-from-behind-the-rockets-bench/
Loved the Can We Skip The 4th Quarter? sign. Sounds like you injected some life into the expensive seats. Thanks for sharing your pictures and videos. I hope to do this someday too.
Thanks for posting. Nice recap...I was recently a few seats back behind the bench too. Except my experience wasn't that great. I went to the Milwaukee game. Need I say more? Anyhow, I like Dorsey's reaction to the T-Pain poster. Also, I wished you would have recorded D. Morey's reaction to that last poster. I am glad you had fun.
Great post... but you do realize that when this thread is the most recently replied to, the front page had the title as "the view from behind..." Spoiler
Wow dude you really tried very hard to get the players' attention! Chuck and Deke looked kinda bothered when you called at them. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience there.
Ok, who gave this thread less than 5 stars? Fess up, that is ridiculous...I wish you could somehow see how people voted on each thread. DD
haha, thanks everyone! (thanks DaDa, i got your feedback from my Xanga, as well.) do i smell a Post-of-the-Year nomination? (hint, hint) it took me at least 10.5 hours to put it all together, but i wanted every last person to be able to feel what i felt when i was right there, behind sikma and adelman, making fun of mcgrady and the rest of the team. i consider Clutchfans family in a weird-sorta-way. i just hope that everyone gets a chance to read it - as we all know, the amount of unnecessary, repetitive threads started in the GARM has gotten to be an epidemic. more and more posters feel the need to start a 61st thread about trading Tracy instead of fitting their unoriginal ideas into existing threads that are discussing the very same matter. here's hoping that this thread has staying power (Sticky, maybe?) so that everyone can enjoy it, b/c with time, i know they will.
I sat pretty much right behind you dude. My first time at a Rockets game. I was hollaring at Joey Crawford for a ****ty call for about 20 seconds.
