I come to you as a poor unemployed young man who is still in school.
I've recently been applying to a multitude of places but have had no such luck in aquiring a job of any sort. The purpose of this post is to possibly gather information as to specific places that you all know are currently seeking cheap employment.

I'm currently still in school so I don't possess a degree of any sort, i'm just looking for any part-time job in the Houston area.

If any of you know of a company that is currently hiring (IE:Restaurants, clothing stores..etc) please feel free to post the name of the company in this thread.

    Thanks :)

You should be able to find seasonal work at the malls...make sure to drop out of school so the employer will see that you are flexbilble in the hours they may offer ;)

As a teenager, shop owners naturally suspect you of being a petty criminal, so it's sometimes hard to get a job/steal from them.

So, hit them where they least expect it: white collar crime.

From what I understand, this time of year Ponzi schemes are quite lucrative.

Wherever people will buy gifts for Christmas there will be part time seasonal work available. Try Target, Walmart/Sams, Best Buy, Frys, Sears, Toys R Us etc. Are you actually looking? I mean I'd understand if you haven't been hired, but to act like you can't even find openings is ridiculous.

You just have to stay at it. I've been there...I know UPS is about to start hiring for seasonal help.

I know this post was in jest, but as a teenager, in school, this is the perfect job.

Restaurants and fast food joints know that your employment is temporary, they need many part time employees and they will work around your school schedule.

As a school age employee, there are laws (written & unwritten) to protect you from working too late during the school week.
