    Hell yea, UFC is badass.

Those highlite reels watching someone get knocked the hell out is amazing. All fighting should be done this way.

somehow I am guessing that you might be a fan?

There's a few old PRIDE/UFC/K-1 threads floating around, so there's a few fans around.

dont like the UFC after they got rid of the lightweight division. PRIDE is the best, much better quality fighters. the lightweight tournment is sept. 25 . i got Gomi and kawajirii in the finals. i'm going wit Gomi cause the guy is a badmotha. i lived the two punch combo he layed out Azeredo wit.

I dont agree with the time limit in UFC or Pride. It can take time for your opponent to get tired. This giving you time for an armbar, choke or whatever. I am a fan of both though.

Gomi and Kawajiri are fighting in the first round actually, so they won't meet in the finals.

Gomi is a badass though, I wanna see him vs. Yves Edwards in the finals

    I like watching UFC.

Where is the best source to watch the Pride and K-1? I never have seen them on Cable-TV.

This is truly a necessity or you will have exhausted people out there and it will make the fights boring.

Having done martial arts for years, 3-4 minutes of fighting is just exhausting. From a ratings perspective, they don't want only on the ground grappling, but would prefer a combination (though the grapplers usually win) of styles.

Pride hands down is the best. All of the UFC fighters want to come to pride ( mainly because its so much bigger ( money )). Pride rules are also better. There a time limit as to how long you can stay on the ground so there is alot more action. Also they have a penalty card which they show to the fighter or fighters if the are not fighting and just standing around. Which can deduct 10 percent of there pay. I watch Pride only by d/l ( bittorrent ) :)

I am SCARED to ever be involved in a fight with someone who has WATCHED this. I saw the first few UFC tournaments, when they had roman numerals, and they were good. Some dude got his hand broken when he hit a big dude on the face many times. I have a couple of Vale Tudo family clips I got from somewhere that I like to look at from time to time.

How much do these Nun-Jitsu classes go for nowadays?

Frank Mir breaking Tim Sylvia's arm is one of the sickest things I have ever seen in sports. Tim Sylvia getting pissed that the ref stopped the fight is amazing. I like UFC better than the other ones. I like watching Matt Hughes and George St. Pierre.

to me the smaller guys have the more exciting fights. gomi and kawajirii is gonna be a war. my money is still on gomi.

and another thing u ever watch sports or fights with freinds and they start BSing about what the athletes just did and your freinds say they could do that too?

well i was watching one of my old PRIDE DVDs and my roomate comes in during the Gomi/Pulver fight. he sits down and starts yapping about how he could take any of those guys. he is 6'2 200lbs plays baseball, i just find that annoying. so going by his logic a 500 pound fat slob could esily take out Mike Tyson.

You should have started punching him in the face and before he passes out say "if I can beat the crap out of you think about what they can do!"

    hahaha

I cant stand it when people act all tough..
