Toribio Romos - Mexico's Benefactor of Illegal Aliens

A real honest-to-goodness ghost has been helping thousands of undocumented Mexicans cross over to this country for the past thirty years! In many cases, this ghost actually transports the aliens across the border personally in a pickup truck, giving them money, food, water, and even telling them where they can find work.

This ghost has an important agenda that may end all world conflicts based on religious squabbles and differences. He wants the whole world to know who he is and what he has in mind. All the help he gives to illegals is conditional. He gives his beneficiaries his name and "address" in Mexico, requesting that they show their sincere appreciation by visiting him during future visits to the homeland. He has been bombarded by grateful visitors ever since he became a pollero, more than thirty years ago.

    Holy Illegal Alien Smuggler?

Those are a bunch of words that I thought would never be used together in the same sentence.

no kidding!!! look how they put him off to the side, too!!!! man!!!! he was my favorite ghostbuster!!! (remember that SNL skit?? -- "i like the black one!"; "but chi-chi...he did nothing!"; "that's because they didn't give him great ghostbuster job and say, 'go and be successful with it.'")

Ummm...damn...can you tell me what his character's name was? That's the main reason I didn't list him. He actually had the funniest quote of the whole movie. "If somebody asks you if you are a god...you say YES!!!" :D

Winston Zeddmore man. I had to look up the spelling of the last name. I think he was the token black guy, just to get more people in the theatre;) If I remember correctly, he was a former marine, so he was the toughest of the GB's. The token black guy thing is funny to me because if I think I read once that Ernie Hudson is a classically trained stage actor.

Ernie Hudson is a terrific actor...and he showed some real comedic talent in the film. They just didn't focus on his character.

Has anybody else heard that they are writing Ghostbusters 3? I have also heard that they're going to be looking for complete unknowns to play the main roles alongside Murray and Ackroyd.

    I need an agent. LOL

The last thing I heard was that the project was cut. The script would have been along the lines of the short lived GB cartoon Ghostbusters Extreme(something like that) with the old Ghostbusters helping them. The story seemed like a good one though, basically, ghosts start escaping from hell and the Ghostbusters need to go to hell to stop them. When they get there, they find that hell is an alternate dimension of NYC called Manhellton. Murray was only going to have a cameo that was despcribed as a wicked joke. My guess is that it called for him to be a current resident of Manhellton if you know what I mean. Anyways, lots of things caused the project to be terminated, 9/11 was the last straw I suppose.

I was trying to make the same point about Hudson.
