I am making you all a guarantee that the U.S.A. Team will have a hard time winning this World Championship. They are going to get a lot of slack from the media as well. They will probably come away with an easy win in tonights exhibition against China, but mark my words... get ready for an embarrassing road to victory. I dont know if anyone remembers, but the 2000 Olympic squad ran into some trouble and even won one game by a point. And those were our stars (minus Shaq). I would not even be surprised if we actually lose a game. Finally, this will be the last time we dont send our BEST to a world tournament!!!! Enjoy the game everybody! GO Yao!!!
Wel,, when they run into Ming, that's going to be their only problem against China. Miller and B. Davis are going to $CHOOL China's sorry A$$ guards. If they had decent CBA guards, they would have a shot.....
Well, I'm glad of one thing. This should be a wake-up call to all our young kids in highschool and the NCAA! And that's, skills are learned by practicing for many hours alone in the gym/court. Not by hooping it up with your home'boys on the playground. All that teaches you is how to look good dunking for the "ladies." If they ignore this international trend, then it will be those U.S. players that lose their NBA jobs to international players. This will be good for the leauge. It will bring us back to the "old school days" when you had to know how to play the game. Not just look good in Nike Jerseys and gold chains.
The U.S. team might have a hard time finding a good nightspot in Indy.Tee times might be a problem too.
Actually, the game you are talking about, they won by two. And, that was the only very close game of the bunch. They won their games by an average of over 20+ points a game. The team played far too lackadasically that year. I hope we never see a USA team go out and play like that again.
