The True Stupidity Of Tariffs, The Global Economy, The Importance To You That America Stays America"

I was watching Washington Week, the weekly PBS political forum, and they were discussing why the markets are in turmoil about tariffs.

Aside from the obvious reasons, another major factor is there is no end game. Trump does things with no long term plans. The point is why would companies with overseas production close those factories and bring jobs back here.

Edit: the tariffs can be lifted anytime, hence the tariffs serve no ultimate purpose, companies are entrenched

When Trump's talks about the global economy he talks like we are at war. It's so frustrating. The global economy is human evolution. We can't backwards. Transportation and communication continues to evolve

When I hear people, and there are more than Trump supporters, who want America to remain as is. I don't believe this is evil or racist, people are proud of their history. Me being black I really don't care but of our history but ilove freedom and what this country offers in terms of opportunity but as long as it offers that, the history of unique culture really isn't important to me but it obviously plays into a lot of Trump support.

We can't go backwards, America will continue to evolve, the economy will only become more global, GMis never bringing the plant back to Flint Michigan.
