The Trade, and one which needs to happen: Bird swaps Isaih to Nets for Scott. No Kidding, this makes sense.
Why would anybody want either of those guys as coach? Especially Thomas, I've never seen a worse coach in almost 20 years of closely following the NBA.
Neither one of those guys is even a halfway decent coach. Scott's substitution patterns and apparent lack of strategy in the Finals was just plain stupid. Thomas has yet to win a playoff series and mold that bunch of young punks into a cohesive team. Look at the way that lunatic Artest has sabotaged that team singlehandedly with his stupid lack of self-control and me-first attitude and you will see what a lax ship Thomas is running in Indy. With the hiring of Larry Bird in the front office, Zeke better watch his back, because Larry Legend's favorite coach Rick Carlisle is still on the market and a damned good coach to boot.
