According to the lastest issue of the Sporting News:
    1. Shaquille O'Neal
    2. Kobe Bryant
    3. Tim Duncan
    4. Kevin Garnett
    5. Tracy McGrady
    6. Allen Iverson
    7. Vince Carter
    8. Chris Webber
    9. Jason Kidd
    10. Gary Payton
    11. Ray Allen
    12. Dirk Nowitzki
    13. Paul Pierce
    14. Michael Jordan
    15. Karl Malone
    16. Steve Francis
    17. Rasheed Wallace
    18. Michael Finley
    19. Peja Stojakovic
    20. Dikembe Mutombo
    21. Jerry Stackhouse
    22. Baron Davis
    23. Shareef Abdur-Rahim
    24. Antoine Walker
    25. Elton Brand
    26. Stephon Marbury
    27. David Robinson
    28. Reggie Miller
    29. John Stockton
    30. Alonzo Mourning
    31. Glenn Robinson
    32. Grant Hill
    33. Latrell Sprewell
    34. Jermaine O'Neal
    35. Andre Miller
    36. Steve Nash
    37. Jalen Rose
    38. Sam Cassell
    39. Antonio McDyess
    40. Shawn Marion
    41. Antawn Jamison
    42. Jamal Mashburn
    43. Wally Sczerbiak
    44. Allan Houston
    45. Vlade Divac
    46. Nick Van Exel
    47. Terrell Brandon
    48. Keith Van Horn
    49. Antonio Davis
    50. Lamar Odom

I think that Cuttino Mobley should be on the list and Dikembe Mutumbo shouldn't even be on it. Francis should be higher than Iverson. Iverson shouldn't be in the top 10. I think Francis should. Jalen Rose should be higher than Miller, because when they were both on the Pacers, Rose was the best player on his team.

Man this totally messed up my vision of Michael Jordan. A few years ago I would've been apalled had they put Jordan at 14, but now I look up the list and I think of him playing for the wizards this year and I think they're right. Should've never came back.

He took the Wizards, last year's second or third worst team, and made them a playoff team.

He has made Rip, Whitney, Jahidi, Haywood, much better than they would have been.

Well, one mistake is Shaq at number one. I don't care how big and dominant he can be, I refuse to acknowledge someone who can't make free throws as the best player in the game. When the game is on the line, Kobe has to carry the Lakers, because LA can't afford to have Shaq sent to the line. Sound arguments can be made for Kobe, Duncan, and McGrady.

Also, anyone who would rank David Robinson ahead of Jermaine O'Neal, Antawn Jamison, and Shawn Marion is a ****ing moron...

True. But he messed up my image of the man, MJ, not the team he carried.

These guys are WAY too high. This was accurate may 4 years ago.
Allen better than Dirk or Pierce or Francis--Heck No. Finley isn;t even the 2nd best player on his team.

Also, Cat is better than Miller, Stockton, Houston, Van Horn or Brandon, that is a joke.

    UNDERRATED

    12. Dirk Nowitzki
    13. Paul Pierce
These two are better than Allen or Payton.

    25. Elton Brand
Brand is way better than SAR or Dikembe

    39. Antonio McDyess
    49. Antonio McDyess
Who does this other McDyess play for?

I do agree Mobley should be on the list, somewhere between 45-50 IMO. Clearly, clearly better than the guys mentioned above and whomever is this other McDyess fellow.

Grant Hill can't hold a candle to Dan Langhi in how to sit on the bench. He needs to injure his ankle. Langhi has bonded with the bench. If he got into 10% of the games he would develop post-partem depression.

I agree about Rip. Along with Mobley, he's the most underrated shooting guard in the league.

D Robinson in the top 0 with Divac? This is an obvious attempt to pupulate the field with some big men even when they don't deserve to be there. How could Mobley not be on this list? Gasol should also be on this list!

I like the list for the most part. Nobody's going to be able to make a list like that, and not have every other person in the universe disagree with individual parts.

I'd rate Payton, Finley, Mutombo, Baron Davis, Abdur-Rahim, David Robinson, and Reggie Miller lower.

I'd rate Andre Miller and Rasheed Wallace a bit higher. But still a decent job, all together.

I think Francis coming in at 16 wasn't that far fetched.

But once the Rockets start winning again, I expect Francis to be top 7.

Couldn't put Steve ahead of Pierce. I think Jordan is a bit high, but I don't like the guy.

Is Odom on the list because of his potential?

I think Finley is awesome, and talent wise, should be in the top tne. But this year, I would put Peja ahead of him.

Dallas with 4 in the top 50?

Hey guys that are complaining about this list:
TSN di not make this list up. They interviewed GMs from around the NBA and they compiled the list. The GM's were asked who they would want on their team, not necessarily who is the best.

I bet Mobley would be right at the top of the top sixth man list. :D
