RABAT, D.C., Morocco, March 24 (UPI) -- A Moroccan publication accused the government Monday of providing unusual assistance to U.S. troops fighting in Iraq by offering them 2,000 monkeys trained in detonating land mines.

The weekly al-Usbu' al-Siyassi reported that Morocco offered the U.S. forces a large number of monkeys, some from Morocco's Atlas Mountains and others imported, to use them for detonating land mines planted by the Iraqis.

The publication quoted a highly-informed source as saying, "that is not a scientific illusion but a well-known military tactic."

Oh no, it's the beginning... So the super-intelligent monkeys will first disarm mines, but by tommorrow, they'd be looking into taking over the world... Screw Iraq, we need to annihilate those super monkeys before they become a threat... Now that the pre-emptive strike landmark has been set, I don't think the world will have a problem with the U.S. killing them... PETA might riot, but there's nothing a little tear gas and a good water hose couldn't fix.

He was the only real musician.

    Has to be Davy Jones.

Although his Brady Bunch episode was my favorite of all time.

Yeah I guess now that I think about it, I do hope Davey goes first. Michael Nesmith was a musician too.

I discount Nesmith since his mother invented liquid paper.

Plus he wasn't in the band when they made their comeback in 1986.

When was the last time anyone used liquid paper?
I have some in my desk that's like 10 years old.

I remember putting liquid paper on high school reports not because of errors, but for the sake of turning in secret pictures.

We already using Dolphins to disarm water mines.

I'd like to see Pidgeons with nano cameras on their backs do some spying for us. That would be bad ass. And if a pidgeon is downed we could send a blackhawk in to bring back are POW. Pidgeon of War.

I know they use dolphins to plant mines. Are you sure a dolphins can disarm a mine?

I heard pigs were good to use to uncovered hidden landmines. I believe they were using them in Camobodia.

I have no idea. All I know is I saw a dolphin in Iraq doing something with mines. You are probably right.

They're placing hooks or whatever onto the mines (no explosion occurs) so real Marines know where those mines are and can get rid of them before they bring their ships past those waters.

In this world gone mad, we won't spank the monkey, the monkey will spank us.

Did anyone tell PETA about this yet?
