The Tennessee Titans: Your Feelings

They've been my team since 1974, when I was but a cherub cheeked laddie... watching Pastorini throw to Burrough.

That franchise is, & will always be my team.

Vince is just a plus.

I go to UT and am a pretty big Vince Young fan but the Titans can go to hell.

Bud Adams left us on horrible terms and robbed the city of its franchise. I can't tell you how happy I was when the Rams stopped them at the 1 yard line in the Super Bowl.

I'll always have great memories of that team. But that franchise is dead to me. Although having Vince Young is making it harder on me. For example I actually found myself supporting them when they played the Colts.

Don't worry in 20 years we'll get a super bowl win for houston. We just happen to be the modern day version of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But we'll get over the hump eventually.

 

This is a Houston Sports forum. I know you're rooting for a team in bum**** Tennessee (no offense, Manny), but you at least know a little geography, right? Just a hint, it's about 785 miles to the northeast of Houston.

 

Talk about "waaaaaa."

but seriously, houston sports != titans

 

I'm not a fan of the Titans now and I never plan to be a fan of the Titans.

 

I don't hate the Titans.

The Titans really didn't do anything wrong, so I hold no ill will towards them. Unless something happens on the field.

But the Owner sucks.

I'll defintely keep my eye on VY cause he is a good player.

 

Wow... memories. Burrough was just about my favorite player. He even attended our little league football banquet that we held at NASA.

 

I think after Eddie George left, I didn't really pull for them as much. Then McNair left, and I basically don't keep up with them anymore. With Vince there, I hope that he keeps on winning, but like week-to-week detailed following/support?...not so much.

 

I've always liked them, except when they play us or the Cowboys...I'm a long-time Oiler fan so its more sentimental for me...

 

They left town, they became just another team.

 

Ditto.. and they're now just another team to me.

 

I hate them because of option 3 + the fact they're in our division

David Carr would have 50 TDs.

 

I rooted for the Titans (but rather passively) until the Texans came into existance.

Now I dislike them a little more than the other division rivals but less than I dislike the Cowboys.

Before the dislike was sort of because of Bud and because they used to be the Oilers.

Now it is becoming more intense...not because of VY himself but because of the folks here who insist on banging the "We should have drafted Vince" drum week after week.

 

I hate them because they left and because of Bud Adams. I was rooting for St. Louis in that Super Bowl.

 

I hate bud and the oilers are dead to me.

the titans are just an extension of bud and therefor I hate them too.

I like VY and I wish we had him but not near enough to cheer for Buds team.

The worse part is Bud had the vision to draft VY and will be giving the city the middle finger twice a year for the next decade.

 

I don't care either way.
