Since its essentially a night game, a closed roof isn't that critical. In fact, it will be opened again for around 1/2 hour before kickoff, for the pre-game festivities (fly-over, fireworks), and then closed right afterwards. Pretty cool way to show off the technology!
It closed about half an hour ago; they showed it on CBS. The NFL will still allow it to open during the game if the weather permits, although I doubt it will before the halftime show, if at all. Good call Nick.
