Here is the link to the article.

Pretty crazy to think the earth may be older than 4 billion years old, and that this may actually show evolution moves at an even slower rate than we originally thought.

How can ppl blindly believe that earth has been in existence for billions of years.... yet humans can destroy it in less than a couple of thousand..

Then, mention a creator, and everyone goes ape ****.

I could take me years to construct a house/building.

But I bet I could destroy it and make it unlivable rather quickly.

Well, define "destroy". If by "destroy", you mean make no longer exist, then yes, it is a fundamentally flawed assumption. But I don't think those who argue in favor of the theory of global warming are saying the earth is being "destroyed". They're saying that human influence on the environment is gradually creating a scenario that, if left unchanged, will be inhospitable to human life. Will the earth survive? Of course! It always has and, barring some kind of unforseen cosmic event, always will. Will we be around to witness it surviving? Ahh, that's an entirely different question.

    Entropy FTW!

Yeah, all you have to do is just pee all over it. It's amazing how much people don't want to leave with pee everywhere.

What I don't understand is how now they say: "the earth is 4 billion years old", but in 2020, they won't say "the earth is 4 billion and ten years old."

It's not blind belief when that's what the best evidence, obtained from multiple independent measurements, indicate.

Apparently raccoons don't mind it so much. Well, depending on the pee... it's just what I hear.

As for the article... go figure.

That might help explain some things like punctuated equilibrium in regard to Evolution.
