    Are they done?

Duncan and Gino look mortal. Dyess and Jefferson aren't exactly picking up the slack. The young guys like Blair and Hill are competent at best.

After a string of good luck/good picks with Duncan, Gino and Parker, the Spurs haven't really produced another star.

I think this is their final year for any sort of championship run. Duncan has really fallen off his high horse, and Parker is starting to lose his quickness. I think Ginobli even stated that he couldn't dunk anymore, and their role players aren't all that great. Lol.

Spurs are going to be the laughingstock of the league (or at least our division) in about 3-5 years.

Blair might become a star, but he doesn't have the height and there are injury concerns with him.

But yeah, the Spurs look really, really old this year...

Lakers, Denver, Portland should be the strongest teams in the West.

If healthy, no one is going to actually "Challenge" the lakers.

Portland isn't that scary of a team when you shut down Roy, imo. LaMarcus Aldridge is way too soft, he might be a second option offensively but I think his overall game is a bit weak.

Lakers, Denver, and Suns are my picks for the strongest teams. With Shaq gone, Amare back, and some nice personnel changes the Suns are back to their explosive run and gun offensive.

    It looks like it.

Yeah it's early but the Spurs just look slower now.

Manu has definitely aged and so has Timmy. Parker still can go but these other guys...i'm not so sure.

Yep, they're always slow starters and they're just setting themselves up for bosh anyway

But this might be the year where they finally can't turn it on anymore. They'll try, the engine will sputter, then die out...

From what I've seen from little of the game, Duncan is getting owned by Oden. He looks slow.

I switched to ESPN right as they were showing a replay of Parker turning his ankle. Talk about a bad sign.

Timmy was manhandled and intimidated by Oden. Completely ineffectual from the post, and hesitant from midrange. Tim duncan is showing his wear and tear. Unless he's getting younger, I don't think he's going to get any better.

Manu doesn't seem to have everything together yet. Where are the acrobatic circus shots? The single-minded determination to make every play. He's not finishing any more.

The Spurs are going to have to figure out who their identity is this year.
