Best Game ever for Jalen. And that’s not just me thinking that, according to @Clutch in playback, that’s what he is being told by Rockets personnel, too.
I fully support this conclusion. Actually I already predicted this under the thread "Chicken Little fans", I posted there before the game that "Rockets will win and Jalen will shine." I still blame the first game on him and I am glad he can bounce back in today's game. Just hope he can continue the good work.
Really you didn't hear the HC, both team announcers, the starting SF and the starting PG all say that spacing was a major impediment in game 1? You didn't hear that's what they worked on, how players weren't in their spots to receive kickouts off drives? You didn't hear Dillon Brooks say word for word the main thing that affected Green was spacing? You didn't notice we played Adams 3 fewer minutes and took 11 more 3PA? Come on dude.
Come on what? What did I say and why you quoting me here saying random things? Again, let me repeat, nothing you say will ever change my mind that Jalen is the first game's main responsible person. He did great tonight because he made the shots, and he made great passes during driving, he made good decisions tonight. I remember it is you or some other Jalen fans keep saying that Amen should not start, the lineups should change blablabla... The way I see it today, Ime did not change the starting lineup. And, in the first few minutes, Jalen was already good by shooting one three, making several good passes, very good efforts on defense end as well. My point is always, it's mainly about him, not others. He sure plays uncomfortable with non-shooters but great players can make adjustments themselves. You can not expect everybody panders to you especially when you are not an all-start yet. I am glad Jalen did it today, making the shots and making good decisions. So I don't know what you are b****ing about here.
I'm calling you out for acting like spacing wasn't an issue when the entire coaching staff and all the players interviewed clearly mentioned that spacing was the issue in game 1. Your opinion was: it's mainly on Jalen. My opinion was: Jalen has to make more of his shots but it's mainly on spacing. The main thing is systemic and tactical. You were wrong and you're doubling down here, but I won't allow you to brush it under the rug regardless of whether you change your opinion which you admitted was biased.
Just to correct you, my opinion was and will always be: 1. It's mainly on Jalen for the first game 2. Spacing is a issue but the main issue is Jalen himself, not tactical. Nobody can help him if he can't pass the balls, make shots, while generating careless turnovers. Whatever you say man, if you are happy that's good.
That's cool, but the coach and the team disagreed with you and the strategy they pursued to focus on spacing was highly successful both for the team and Green. Keep the opinion solid bro.
Of course they will say spacing is the main issue. Even if any player or Ime thinks it's because of Jalen's poor performance, they will not say it out loud in front of media. Are you crazy or what? Only fans can do that and I was doing it. This is really a stupid argument you are using.. Again, Spacing is an issue but I believe the main issue is Jalen himself of being streaky.
The ol' Jalen conspiracy: Ime Udoka has called out superstars Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in his career and in fact is famous for not being scared to call out his players but he won't call out 23 year old Jalen Green. Sure. Keep digging.
