The saddest story I've heard in days...

    I heard this on NPR yesterday. It was sooo sad. Not in any eventfull sort of way, but perhaps more in that wistfull, Daniel Day Lewis/Miramax movie kind of way.

    Pentagon Postcard

    In a suburb of Paris, Nick Spicer tracked down a former North Vietnamese army officer who remembers Max Beilke -- one of the victims of the Sept. 11 attack on the Pentagon. Beilke was officially listed as the last American combat soldier to leave Vietnam. The former officer, Bui Tin, now lives in exile. (3:00)
