Brewer mid-rang game is good, not everybody needs to be able to knock down threes like crazy. We have Garcia for that, Brewer can play defense and average 8-10 ppg as a back-up SG.
Stephen Jackson, Gary Neal, Carlos Delfino, Corey Brewer, and Nate Robinson. I think the last three will want and receive more than the Rockets are willing to pay. I think Jax and Neal are the most realistic options. Captain Jack is a still a good two-way player who has championship experience and can hit big shots. Neal is a 3 point shooter who can also handle limited pg duties (just not in the Finals). But I'm thinking he ends up receiving a higher offer as well.
Dude, they will just leave Garcia covered, and force Brewer to hit the open shot, which he won't....again and again. I'm all about those 3&D guys. How good is Gibson's defense?
I think you realistically look at Morrow and/or Delfino. Doubt Brewer plays next year for $2.6 mil. Brewer or Morrow or Delfino. If Asik gets moved (which i hope doesnt happen) you look at O'Neil.
I am going to consider the fact that either Lin or Asik will be gone, so that is an assumption I am making when naming these players (in no order). Nate, John Lucas III, Toney Douglas, Mike James. CP, Corey Brewer Sammy Dalembert Would be nice if we could somehow convince Lull to get his butt over here. Now would be the best time.
It won't happen. But, it would be hilarious if all of the GM's got together and signed that no one is to pay Bynum a cent for the upcoming season. Hilarious.
huh, no weight room commitment? when he went to orlando there were rumors about him being on roids, the league ended up testing him because of it. they thought he got big too fast or something.
I've changed my mind after looking at that shot chart. Brewer is terrible from 3. We need a 3pt shooter at SG. Bonus if he can play D as well.
We are not getting Jarrett Jack, Carl Landry, Zaza, or Chris Anderson! They have already either signed or in Anderson's case going back to the Heat. Nate Robinson is out of our price range! Corey Brewer would be awesome to get. I wouldn't touch Bynum or Barbosa with a ten foot pole! ! I can see us getting a backup center though if we trade Asik! I would love to get Dalembert back! He would be a great backup! Dalembert, a stretch 4 from an Asik Trade, and Brewer would round out our roster perfectly!
Richard Hamilton anyone? Didnt see anything about "RIP" posted on here, so here it goes. 13yrs in the league, Vet, NBA Champion. Do you take a chance on him if he accepts the Minimum? I think he would be a good back up 3 to Parsons and a upgrade over Casspi. What do you guys think? http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20130710/sports/707109701/
