If Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady can stay healthy for the rest of the year they willl be the #1 seed.

Discuss if you like but this will happen.

I think we have a chance to get a top 3 seed, but number 1 that will be tough.

This sort of like saying, "If flying, pink elephants appear over Toyota Center, the Rockets will be the #1 seed."

We can pretty much count on Yao and/or Tracy not staying healthy the rest of the way.

As optomistic as I am, I just dont see us going 33-0 the rest of the way, and that may not even be enough.

They will be able to compete for HCA, and maybe even the division, but thats where I would draw the line.

How about Tracy stay healthy (physically and mentally) and play within the system?

    Sadly, neither will happen,

If Tracy is healthy, he will NOT play within the system.

If he is not healthy, Rockets do not have enough talent to win.

    Um....

He HAS BEEN playing within the system. Anyone who actually watches the games can attest that his play now vs December features much fewer bad jumpshots, more penetration when he does get it, and more shots after moving without the ball.

Seriously, is this all you do? Do you even watch the games, buddy? How can you state all these opinions of yours (which many posters here disagree with) as fact? I like how you emphasize that he will "NOT play within the system" as if it's blatantly obvious.

Sadly, my friend, you're just plain wrong. Criticize Tracy all you want about his lack of energy on the court, that's warranted, but all your other claims are just ridiculous.

Too many teams to leap frog. It's certainly possible (although my Suns fan roommate says its impossible) but highly unlikely that one of the 7 teams ahead of us won't play well enough to stay ahead.

Then we'll face the warriors who is the 8th seed and be kicked out of playoffs the first round, again.

Everything is possible, Rockets won 14-17 last games, and recently have their longest winning streak going on, twice!

Whatever, they're only 5 games behind first place and watch that playoff seed isn't so much important as home court advantage.

I mean first seed Hornets, Suns or any team aren't too much better than Rockets, Blazers or Warriors.

It will be interesting to watch this year playoffs, ofcourse if Rockets make it.

I just want a good winning streak the last 15 games of the season on the path to HCA.

No.1 seed is nice, but it aint everythang...
