There is no other team in the league that can look as good and as bad as the Rockets. There are better teams and there are definitely worse teams..but Nobody else..plays up and down like Houston. I can only define it as growing pains... you can see the Rox divert to their selfish ways at certain times..and we all know that result! Then we see the next level which is Yao-based and we make good teams look foolish..I think no team from top to bottom (except maybe the Mavs) has the athletes that Houston does. As a fan they make me as excited as a little kid and as mad as Rasheed Wallace in an empty parking lot!! But I will always watch,support, and cheer no matter what!
Good attitude and good post. We need more posts like this instead of the usual fire Rudy, trade Cat, move Steve to the 2 posts after a loss. What makes me excited about this Rockets team is how amazing they can look against the good teams on some nights. It shows that they are developing and that they aren't afraid of the big boys. The Western Conference isn't easy to play in and I think people forget that on this BBS.
I'd say be glad you aren't a Boston Celtic fan this season. Take a look at some of their games and tell me if you still stand by your statement. How about that Detroit loss being the second worst in NBA history behind who, the Rockets with a 56 point effort against Seattle, sorry I forgot which year. Why couldn't the Celtics go ahead and break that record for the Rockets.
Where there is good, evil always lurks. Someone will counter our one of a kind style. Then it becomes a head game for the championship.
But isn't that because they live and die with the 3 point shot? I haven't had a chance to see them play(missed our game).
