The Rockets need a Matt Maloney type backup PG.

    As bad as this sounds this is the exact type of player the Rockets need to backup Steve Francis. The backups job should just be to dribble the ball across the court and dish it into the low post or wing and be able to make his shot. He shouldn't have to create his own shot but to feed off of the open shots that Francis, Ming, and Mobley gets him.

    I'm not saying that we should get Matt Maloney but a player like him that knows his role and doesn't try to do to much. The backup should know his role to give the ball up to the real stars of the team and not try to be one. Moochie thinks that he is a star and that is his problem.
