Do y'all ever wonder how smart each player was? When I see them playing I always think to myself, "Look at him. He looks like he barely graduated high school." Or, "Damn, that guy looks like a brain." Sometimes you get a sense of each player's vocabulary from interviews. Just wondering who everyone thinks who the smartest player was grade-wise and who didn't do particularly well in school.

    Smartest: Kevin Willis

Yeah he's a vet, but he has so much maturity. He talks like a scholar, and he has an extended vocabulary

Working down the list from Smart ---> Dumb

    Jason Collier
    Tierre Brown
    Steve Francis
    Glen Rice
    Kenny Thomas
    Kelvin Cato
    Moochie Norris
    Terence Morris
    Maurice Taylor
Dan Langhi - have y'all heard him talk?!
Eddie Griffin - Just a hunch

Most unfortunate in their school days: Cuttino Mobley

Sometimes I just look at the Cat and his tiny head and I wonder how anyone lives with such a small head. Not that would affect too much, but ever since we picked Cuttino, I noticed his lack of a distinguished look and use of large words. I am, however, impressed with his buddy's interviews. Steve Francis always seems to be in control of an interview, and uses an array of words (like suseptable ~sp?~).

Oh well. I just had to get my mind off of that ref-damaged loss last night.

I'm not sure I agree with your EG reference. Unfortunately, quiet or shy is often associated with dumb.

Langhi, of whom I am not a fan, did go to Vanderbilt.

I suppose you're right. Maybe it's just his shyness.

Mobley has a nice vocabulary, which includes the words "huwry up", and "dude", sometimes throws in "110 percent".

I actually think Eddie is pretty bright. He seems like he type that's reserved but if he were to have something to say it would be an intelliget comment. Seems like he likes to sit back and observe.

You keep on doing that, Stevie. Close your eyes and rest that head for next season.
