Most 3s attempted in a game (70) at least according to this site:
    http://www.nba.com/history/records/regular_3ptfg.html

42 3s? They seem to be taking moreyball to extreme. Especially when you can't hit 3s maybe you need to stop.

I know they were missing three starters, but I don't know how successful this style will be in the playoffs.

you have to have some midrange game. Its common sense, thats why half the team was running around like headless chickens when they couldn't get into their spots.

It was bad...when opposing team just set at the arc..waiting for the Rockets to take a shot

That makes sense...oh wait maybe it had something to do with the lack of paint presence?

If every shot is being guarded at the 3 point line, the Rockets will miss...considering how hard it is from 3. But without size and the inability to secure rebounds, the Warriors didnt allow much in the paint. And hard to beat a team with a legit big in Bogut, who like Yao altered/blocked a lot of shots today

    Offense was terrible.

For god sakes give D-mo a least a few touches down low. Anything but contested 3's

I'm sure they were missing that in the playoffs as well...

Karma. Was it just last year we tied the record for made 3's in a game?

More than that, we need a pick and roll game. We ran the pick and roll BEAUTIFULLY in the first half and then just flat out gave up and decided to jack up bad threes.

Exactly. People on here cant grasp the fact that we did well to not get run out of the building with all the injuries and how the offense works when there is nobody who can score inside. Idk what folks expected to happen as far as that goes and they also got some good shots but it wasn't falling tonight.

But then again Morey is stupid. Analytics don't work. Harden is a scrub. ALl of the above:rolleyes:

I think our style will be different with Howard, Jones, or any other decent big man. Did you want them to throw the ball into Black more often or what?

This game is a bad game to judge how we will do in the playoffs.

You guys are underestimating just how tired some of them were. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if a few of our guys go down with flu.

maybe they were just too tired in the 4th, but player movement halted to almost nothing. when the defense is packing the paint and your 3's aren't falling, you have to run cutters to get open looks. basketball 101

Hilarious, it was quite funny seeing us miss so much, need more of common sense up there in Houston. Midrange shots are lacking!!

Los Pollos Hermanos isn't the sharpest tool. He's not even a tool. He's a rock you make the tool out of.

McHale thought the defense was good, but said Rockets forced too many threes, weren't moving like they should have on offense.
