hmmmm... I seem to remember a certain few posts in the Hangout that referred to "The Road to Springfield" where some guys set up a website to find out who was the best supporting Simpson's character... looks like the Rockets got on board and created The Road to Rocketsville!! too funny cast your vote! The Road to Rocketsville
why all the stupid matchups and lack of great rockets...no Rudy T, calvin vs kenny smith?...horry vs KT...mirkad vs cato...??...waterboy vs cato...??? francis vs mobley?
red, read it again. They are only doing one regional. There are 4 regionals. You know, like how the NCAA's doesn't play all the games on the same day in the tourny. btw: what does everyone think of Barkley getting the worst #2 seed by being placed in Hakeem's regional. I guess he didn't have enough years with the rocks. I'm curious if they'll make Drexler a #1 seed over Malone/Elvin Hayes/Francis/Rudy/Calvin. Barkley's bodyslam of Shaq should count the same as Drexler helping win the 2nd ring...hehe. Here is my guess of the top 8 seeds and regional matchup
1. Dream 8. Barkley------+ | | 4. Rudy---------+ 5. Calvin 3. Francis 6. Hayes--------+ | | 2. Malone-------+ 7. Drexler
Who wants to bet Griffin will upset a top seed?
Anyone notice that Super Mario and Chucky Brown will meet in the first round of their region? (7) Mario Elie VS. (10) Chucky Brown This may tear the BBS in two.
oops, I didn't realize all the regionals were listed. well I was right about the top 8, but not the order. Did they really put Drexler ahead of Hayes, though. They are both hometown stars from UofH. Drexler helped get us a ring, but Hayes had superior Rockets stats and got us to a finals with Malone as our #2 scorer. Their rankings seem to be: 1. Hakeem 2. Malone 3. Calvin 4. Rudy 5. Francis 6. Drexler 7. Hayes 8. Barkley Maybe they actually have Calvin #2 and Malone #3 (for lack of Rockets years).
did i miss him or did they leave of Otis Thorpe? matt bullard will upset some people and where is my boy chuck nevitt? they need to do a where are they now section on clutchcity.net and have rockHEAD do some investigating...
Hayes was not with the Rockets in 80-81 when they got to the finals. He arrived the following season. That being said, I would still rank Hayes ahead of Clyde.
How the hell is Mo beating a 20ppg Rocket in Kojis, what the hell has Mo done for the Rockets, remember this is a guy who cried on a bus and injured himself walking backwards. Respect the Past VOTE KOJIS
