One guy is Basketball Thunder and lightning, the other is Basketball IQ creativity on feet....

It’s truly a personal choice. I’m sure if Ganis was playing on the Rockets, a lot of us would be clamoring for him to get the MVP. I’m too bias, i think what Harden does is beyond amazing, it’s very special to watch.

And for folks who say Ganis has a better Record, go back and see what the competition in the west did to Lebron James. The West takes no prisoners... Oh and playing for large chunks of the season without Chris Paul, Gordon, and Capela goes further to show what a crafty Basketball player Harden is. Having to fix the team culture after the bad off season addictions is further proof of his MVP leadership.

Giannis's numbers just don't like that exceptional to me other than his shooting percentage. At this point I don't care. We are going wipe out the league during the playoffs and all the pundits will feel stupid.

Again this just reeks of the media trying to make the race close but its going to be Giannis in a landslide. There were plenty of MVP moment games omitted from here - 61 @ the Garden, 57 against the Heat in a huge 2nd half comeback.

These type of articles are more upsetting than anything - I mean a breakaway windmill is a MVP moment?

It's like, Hardens being hampered by having TOO MANY great moments. Its diluded the waters per se.

Meanwhile, giannis really hasn't had that much so his big moment or highlights stand out.

    It's incredibly frustrating.

Paolo Uggetti is supposed to be a Harden guy too.

giannis's moments were highlight. a windmill dunk on a fast break, a dunk over Blake, a game winning block, etc... one MVP game was the 45 against the Sixers.

hardens moments were not highlights, they were whole games or streaks of games. the 30 game steak wasn't even mentioned as a "moment". all the 60 and 50 points games in the same season wasn't even mentioned as a "moment."

I guess its better to do a windmill on a fast break than score 30+ for 32 straight games? also the scoring seemed completely arbitrary and unnecessary.

but I can't hate this article too much because it did give the edge to harden. barely.

Didn't read but Yannis has no moments. He'll win because "Best player on best team".

Where do you want to start with Harden?
    The 2 60-point games?
    The 7 50-point games?
    The 19 40-point games?
32x30(32 straight games with at least 30 points)
    61 in MSG?
    61 in comeback vs Spurs?
44-point triple double vs Warriors @ Oracle, basically one man show vs 8, hitting the game-winner?
All the "First player since _____ " records

The H2H losses really hurt us. They treated it like their Super Bowl and we were missing CP and Capela when they came to Houston. Everyone else has a reductionist view and says Harden choked as soon as he saw their left hand gimmick defense. I really really want to face them in the finals now.
