The "Random Rocket Trade Proposals" Thread - 2007 Offseason

    This thread is set up to be a collection of trade proposals that users suggest to improve the Rockets. This will get discussion on the different ideas and keep many different threads proposing random things from cluttering up the Rockets forum. If you're trying to better the Rockets and would like to propose a trade, but have no solid information backing it, please post it here.

    This is just my hypothetical example:

    1) If I thought the Jazz and Rockets should swap Luther Head and Ronnie Brewer, citing how Luther and Deron Williams are close, the Jazz need a two-guard and the Rockets need athleticism, I would post it here.

    2) If I found a Salt Lake Tribune article that suggests this trade, or some news saying the Rockets-Jazz are discussing a deal, I would create a new thread for it.

    PS. Please remember -- try to post your trade proposals from THE OTHER TEAM'S POINT OF VIEW. Convince us WHY the other team would/should make this trade with the Rockets. This is easier to read than fantasy garbage proposals that bring in other teams' best players for whatever you want to get rid of.

    uh tmac would approve the trade if brand stays. and if brand leaves, he's gonna play w/ caveman?? no one is that stupid.

    no way man, that trade is horrible

    We basically become the Clippers, and last time I checked they didn't make the Playoffs.

    im thinking about the clippers perspective. they're not gonna trade brand (a big) for tmac. they want to pair tmac w/ brand before anything. they might not even trade brand for yao i believe too.

    bad scenerios...i feel sorry for those wasting their precious time thinking mcgrady or yao will be traded.

    and now i have to include myself in that category :D

    they can if yao becomes a true superstar, tmac makes his jumper, and we get better shooters. we're not that far away. i mean, the jazz can do it so far.

    Elton Brand and Cuttino Mobley couldn't even get into the playoffs, and they're going to improve a team that has less scoring options.

    McGrady is not the problem. He's being asked to lead the team in scoring, and create for everyone else... at the same time. That is the problem.
