The ramification of Yao's breakthrough performance

    I have to admit that, in any stretch of my imagination, I would have thought Yao could step up that quickly. It is very likely that Rudy is going to make a change on his game plan for the rest of the season. However, the tough task Rudy is facing now is to determine who he wants to play and at the same time makes everyone happy. But making everyone happy is not the reality. But one thing for sure, he would start the players that are team-oriented. So, it seems like some players will fall in the bottom of option list.

    Other things will factor in, such as injuries.

    I think this has been discussed before in other threads, whether guys like Hawkins and Rice would end up starters and KT and Mobley would end up coming off the bench. Certainly, if Hawkins gives the kind of all-round game he displayed in the Washington game, we're not missing much by having Hawkins at the 2.
