Magic have the lead at only 19 W, but Chicago is tanking it up close at 20. Note Chicago has pulled it's starters to play scrubs. Right there are Atlanta and Washington, at 22 W ea.
Will they win again? Silghtly over is former up-and-comer Phoenix, with 23.

After that we've got Golden State and Philly with 29 ea; then the faux contenders for final playoff spots.

    1 Orl - 19
    2 Chi - 20
    3 Atl - 22
    4 Was - 22
    5 Pho - 23
    6 GS -29
    7 Phi - 29
    8 Tor - 30
    9 Bos - 31
    10 Cle - 31
    11 Sea - 32
    12 NY - 33
    13 Mia - 33
    14 Mil - 34
    15 Por - 35

How is the draft shaping up? We have Okafor and the big Russian. Who else can they look forward to?

the team that I can never understand is Boston.

i live there so i want them to do well. but every year they barely make the playoffs, get mediocre picks and get guys like kedrick brown, joe forte, or joe johnson (the one that turned out okay but they traded him!), mike james, etc. i mean they are not good enough at drafting to get good players at the later picks. like Dallas... antonio daniels, josh howard... bam! two solid players.

they need to just tank one year and try to get a good pick. other wise they'll be stuck in this loop over and over and over.

Dwight Howard coming out of HS, Sebastian Telfair out of HS. Both should be lottery picks. If they had a single year of college under them, they'd both be top 3 picks.

So glad we're not doing a lotto generator at cf.net this year.

Smith, Livingston, and Deng are a few more. A name to keep an eye on: Ivan Chiriaev.

    canadian pride?

    "the NBA needs Ivan Chiriaev"

at least he believes in himself!

says he put on 70 pounds in the last year... how long is it gonna take for him to get used to that new weight? i've never seen him play, but if Kwame Brown took so long to (sort of) develop... this guy looks like a huge project to me.

Do you mean Marquis Daniels (who went undrafted)? You're right, they both look pretty solid, especially Howard who looks great when going to the rim.

    my bad. that's it.

they were both on the court to close out a very tight Nets game the other day. GREAT composure shown by the two rookies. sad thing is they are the two of the best defenders on that team already.

meanwhile... Dallas just stinks man. almost beaten by no Kidd no Martin Nets, loses to no Iverson 76ers. Think about it! Kidd and Iverson ARE the Nets and 76ers.
