The problem here is not that there are racists and skinheads in the military, we already know that. The problem here is that the military refuses to institute a zero tolerance policy for this kind of crap, which also affects some other minorities albeit nowhere near the Muslim ones these days

    <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dd6NeLsuffg&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dd6NeLsuffg&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Notice how instead of looking for and punishing the instigators, his superiors merely advise him to move off base, obviously so that the skinheads can continue to exercise their right to free (bigoted) expression in military uniforms on military bases and on taxpayer dime

    That's beyond f***ed up.

He serves, sacrifices, fights, and dies the same as any of those other guys do.

The higher ups should crack down on that kind of s***.

That's a ****ing joke and it hurts to hear. I was in high school during 9/11 and heard bull**** insults for a few days. I was called a towelhead, raghead etc.. and I was in a fairly progressive school. (Bellaire High School for those in houston) But that was only for a few days he's still hearing that nonsense.

It's ridiculous that he still has to deal with that and he's everything you want in a soldier. Being Brown does not equate to terrorist, I hope at some point people are smart enough to realize that.

until people in this world start judging people based on their actions as opposed to the way they look we will have idiots like the people harassing this soldier.

I don't think all soldiers feel the way the harassers so I'm not going to let a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch.
