The Phantom has has been revealed. The first video game console from Infinium Labs has finally been unveiled and looks to be just as powerful as the developers claimed. The console will run on a Windows OS embedded into the system and come with a 3.0 ghz processor and 256 MB of Ram. It will also have numerous USB ports along with four controller slots, a wireless mouse and keyboard, and a 100+ gigabyte storage center. The system will be fully online, allowing users to play games on a "try before you buy" basis, game rental and purchasing all on demand.

For more information, check out Infinium Lab's website or check out the next issue of Cinescape due out in September.

Mario 3 is the most overrated game ever.

Super Mario World, A Link to The Past, and Yoshi's Island own.

Well, as long as we're hijacking threads here, I've got to put in my vote for the ORIGINAL Super Mario Bros. THE GREATEST console game ever! Not only was it the most influential, it was also one of the most intriguing. Everything in it has a certain raw quality that only gets better with age. There's no polish here -- everything gets more and more polished as the Marios advanced, but it all points back to the original, the great grandfather. It was complex, yet simple. Raw but refined.

SMB3 was by far the easiest, I thought. SMB2 and SMB1 were the best, IMO.

i always thought the second was the easiest, i beat that before i could beat the first one.

i thought the third one was kinda weak other than those badass suits. which was that suit where it was like the racoon and mario could fly except if you pressed up he turned into a statue?pointless i think but neat at the time.

Prepare to have your socks rocked if you've ever played the original Super Mario Bros. Warning - video is 100 megs.

Note that this player takes advantage of several bugs in the original SMB that were removed in All Stars and Gameboy versions. Still very impressive though.

A game console running Windows? Holy schnikes! That's a GREAT idea!

Wait... Now that I think about it, I have one of these Phantoms already. I call it MY COMPUTER. My gaming rig has more HD space, more RAM, and is generally faster. So, uhhhhh, why do I want this Phantom thingy again? Besides, what's the over/under for Blue-Screen-of-Deaths (BSODs) per hour? 1? 5?

As for Mario, SMB was great, SMB2 sucked major ass, SMB3 was too easy, SMB World was fun (but frustrating at times), SMB 64 was awesome, and SM: Sunshine was pretty good (but generally just okay).

I'll take Zelda (except for the pitiful Zelda 2) over Super Mario Brothers any day. Ocarina of Time has to be the greatest game of all time.

Just barely better than Link to the Past.

That was by far the best SNES game ever...well...Super Metroid was pretty kick ass too.
