are the two greatest shows ever ever ever ever. I never liked Road Rules, I don't like Survivor, I thought I hated reality T.V., but the fact is these two shows are changing my life. Watch Anna on E at 9, then switch to MTV and watch the Ozbournes. Reality T.V. may be a bad thing in the long run, but right now we are hitting a high point and we should just all enjoy the ride. Take fromobile's advice. Watch em.
The best reality show was the first 2-3 seasons of The Real World. The first 2 seasons of Road Rules was pretty good also. None of this Survivor, Anna, Ozzy (which I like), Big Brother BS is even close.
Anna Nicole is the funniest show ever. It has to be scripted. After seeing the feuding interior decorators I'm convinced. One thing that bothers me though- the animated opening sequence that makes light of her "beloved husband's" death. Way to rub it in on the in-laws, Anna.
If this is the high point, please god, I beg you to bring me back down!! Lemme guess how these shows have changed your life: 10. You spend your time trying to decode Ozzy-speak in hopes of being the first to uncover "the secret hidden message". 9. Repeated viewings off the Anna Nicole show have reconstructed your view that the size and intelligence of women really isn't that important. ok, I can't think of any other life changing aspects of these shows. feel free to chime in with your own.
8. You now have much more respect for flaming fashion designers/interior decorators and rednecks from Mexia, Texas.
I've always wondered why Howard K. Stern is content to by Anna Nicole's biatch. I mean, he's a lawyer. Doesn't he have a job at a law firm? What's wrong with him? Well, my fiancee (a budding lawyer herself) and I found a partial and puzzling answer. We looked up Howard using a lawyer search on the internet. This is what we found (assuming it's him, which it HAS to be). Seems like a pretty smart guy. Berkeley undergrad, UCLA law school. Why is he carrying bags for a living now? Also, he's with Anna for like 24 hours a day. According to the website search, he works for a practice that employs FOUR people total (including him, I guess). He's not even a partner. So, losing Howard would equal a 25% dropoff of lawyer manpower at that firm. How is he able to do that? What am I missing here?
25% dropoff? No, I'm sure he bills for the vast majority of the time he's with her. He probably IS the firm, the other few guys probably do all the day to day work from Anna related business. Why did he swallow all pretense of pride and professional dignity? That one is ea$$$$y if you think about it.......
The Boesch Law Group (where Stern is employed) represented Anna in her estate litigation case where they recieved judgments of $475 million and $89 million (this according to the firm's website). Not only is he probably on a very hefty hourly retainer, but they stand to make millions if the hubby's estate finally pays up.
I wish I could get paid a very hefty hourly fee to hang out with Anna and occasionally get her coffee, feed her dog, carry her bags, etc. ... Although, they'd have to pay me A LOT before I'd even consider staying with Anna 24 hours a day. As for the Boesch Group, don't they have other work Stern could be doing? If he's truly billing hours while sitting on his ass with Anna, wouldn't that mean that she is paying Howard to be her friend? That's just sad. Knowing her, she probably doesn't even know Howard is billing her. I want to see the episode where she gets the legal bill. 16 hours (he can't bill her while sleeping, can he?) x $300 (high? low?) = $4,800 a day = $144,000 a month = $1,728,000 a year. Now that's a costly friend!
