She and I were friends in elementary school and junior high but never dated, went to different high schools and colleges. Never knew much about what happened to her until I discovered the invention of The Facebook 3 days ago; where I found out that she is engaged. Up until today I was not eating or sleeping, I would go out and drive around all hours of the night lamenting my loss. I would just have this burning feeling in my gut and like my heart had sank down into it. All because of that picture and those memories are now nothing. It's like the first break up, they're so hard to get over.
This is a prime example in what not to do!! If you like a women, by all means tell her. The worst she can say is no. BTW, cool story bro!!
I met a girl on vacation once... beautiful as all hell, intelligent, full package. Talked for about two hours. Haven't seen her or anything like her again tow years after. I only have a first name and a general region to go by. i know I'll never see her again. There is no way to go back, brother. Believe me, you're best off just forgetting about her. There's 3 billion women in the world, I'm sure you'll find someone.
I don't know which I should address first: a) the fact that you just found out about Facebook three days ago or b) the fact that the 'one that got away' is a girl you knew in elementary/junior high and never dated. It's not even like the first break up.. because you never dated!! Did you at least kiss?
Wait am I missing something here? Did you even like her, in the post it just says you guys were friends in elementary school and Jr. High. If you never even liked her, and made no attempts to ask her out or anything, why are you so depressed. I assume you liked her during the time you were friends, Are you regretting now you never asked her out when you were in 7th grade or something? I'm pretty confused.
This was up until the end of the 6th grade when she moved away. I could have asked her out but, yes, I was too chicken **** or hesitant. But finding her picture just reminded me of those good ole days when you were a little kid, you could run around kicking and screaming, saying whatever you wanted to say because you were just a kid and you could discover things that adults took for granted (no I never saw her naked). The good part is that there is another girl I was friends with back then and now she is a personal trainer, a damn good one and lives in Houston. So, 1 out of 2 may not be so bad. If I ever get back to Houston, that is.

You found out a friend from elementary/junior high has since gotten married and you stopped eating/sleeping for three days? Did you think she was waiting for you to find her since 6th grade?
So he's 25 and he hasn't been eating or sleeping since he found out his friend from elementary school is engaged? Jeeze, how long has he been obsessing over this poor woman? Im going through the same thing. Daria (diarrhea) found someone else and it has me depressed. Even worse, she has Butthead on her friendslist and wont accept me. She even blocked me..I guess because in school I always called her diarrhea everytime I saw her. She doesnt know I want to party with her. Mr Anderson down the street tells me to cheer up and asked me to mow his lawn and play golf afterwards, but I guess Ill go have a few beers and crawfish with Todd this weekend at the bar.
I know I would be thoroughly creeped out if I had a Cohete Roja from my elementary/junior high days. This girl I knew in HS but barely talked to friended me on facebook the other day and then sent me a random message saying hi -- and THAT creeped me out.
