Is that they will replay the games at midnight. This way, people who work at night, or just miss the game for whatever reason, get a mulligan.

Ya know, that will be awesome if its a good game where we pull an upset over the Lakers or Spurs. We get to watch it twice in one night!

On the other side, I dont think I can watch a game where the Rockets get torched by Golden State or the Grizz once much less twice. Its like a bad car wreck. You know youll go back and watch it a second time just to make sure what you saw the first time actually happened. :D

I noticed that they did that for the first pre..are you sure they will be doin it all year? I have school on Mon thru Wed nites and hate missing games..this would be so cool. I already had to skip last week so I could get my Rox fix..I dont think they would appreeciate it if I continued doin that all semester..:)

Does this mean they will show it twice on league pass too? Probably not, but I thought I'd ask.

If they were smart, they'd play the game all day since there's nothing else worth watching on that channel. I don't know why they would go back with 51 after the last time when over half of the city couldn't even pick up the signal. With Yao coming in and a new arena being finished next year, why wouldn't UPN or 39 jump on for a couple of years?

I get KNWS 51 Pretty good on Time Warner.

Infact it is clear. It used to be ****ty.

I have a Time Warner box thing, and I have a splitter going into another room, and it comes in clear too. It used to be ****ty, til I bought a new wire.

    It is all good.

Last time it was channel 55, not 51 ..
While 51 is not great, it is at least a far cry better than 55..
    55 sucked royal a$$ !

And also, channel 39 jumped in and will be splitting time this
season with 51.. Rockets road games will be shown some on
51 and some on 39 .. but I have not yet seen a schedule..

Does anyone know if the TV schedule has been finalized and
    released yet?

Great, that gives ZRB TWO chances to tell us how much the Rockets suck if we're down at halftime and then threaten to become a Sonics fan...

    Rockets update

-- Buried in the release announcing the Rockets' one-year broadcast deal with KHWB (Channel 39) and KNWS (Channel 51) was this line: "Game coverage on KNWS will also be available on satellite beginning with the regular season."
Hmmm. As you might recall, Channel 51 missed the deadline last year to become a must-carry station on DirecTV and Dish Network, then lost its appeal. At the time, officials said it would be four years before Channel 51 could get on the satellite.

Rockets president George Postolos and Channel 51 owner Doug Johnson said Tuesday the satellite problems would be worked out this month. But DirecTV spokesman Robert Mercer said late Tuesday that the carrier has no immediate plans to carry Channel 51. A spokesman for Dish Network had no information on Channel 51's status.

Their deal with KNWS is only for one year?

Well, I guess they're hoping that they make the playoffs this year and possibly get a better long term TV deal with UPN or WB next season...

NBA League Pass should reflect Sunday Ticket blackout rules, then we'd have no issues. At least those with NBALP.
