Ok, how many games are we going to go ~30% from the field on jump shots? What do we do when we can't hit a jump shot? We try everyone on the bench except Boki. Can this guy shoot? There will be a time(s) when somebody either gets hurt, is sick, or can't shoot the ball, and we'll all be wishing that BOKI would have had some PT to get into the flow of things. If he was at least played and utilized a wee bit, given quality minutes, we might be in a position down the road (playoffs??.... ) when he could help us, especially if nobody else can hit a shot.
Take the Timberwolves game, we shot terribly. If we refuse to take the ball inside, and move the ball, and resort to long range jumers as the first move of the ball, then SOMEBODY has to hit a few. I'd much rather see good team ball, and good ball movement, but when you have to dish to the outside, somebody needs to step up. What could it hurt to have another option available to you?

i fully support this boki thread... what's the deal with him not playing? i understand rudy brings along his rookies VERY slowly, but c'mon, its not like boki wouldnt contribute any LESS than any other player. i believe if given a chance, he'd actually prove himself worthy of decent minutes... i had the opportunity to speak with boki earlier in the season, & he told me he'd be playing soon?!? um, did he mean soon as in next season?? if he's not given the chance, other than playing garbage minutes, how's he gonna get any better or contribute to the team?? BOKI BOKI BOKI !!

Seriously, is he THAT much worse of the offensive and defensive end than Rice and Tmo?

Rudy...Please play BOKI for a change...think of any possible match up that you can use him out there to our advantage...you gonna give a guy a complex ,heck! even a hemorhoid if you let him sit too long....Boki has learned enough ! he needed some minutos!!!

I must agree that I would love to see Boki play. Not that I know anything about it, but I would imagine that there must be some reason that he is not even getting garbage minutes. The Rocket coaches(as much as most on this bbs would disagree) know more about basketball than we do. bad practices???hidden injury???pissed them off???not as ready for NBA action as originally thought???Who knows??? There is probably a reason that they are NBA employees and we just bit@$ on a message board.

I'll probably get flamed for saying this....but that is my opinion

Maybe his sole purpose as of now is to make Yao feel at home?
