If we stand Pat. Shut T-Mac down for the season. I think this team will be better for it. I don't like any of the names being bandied around Amare, Miller nor VC improves us significantly esp if TMac takes a powder. Our already lackluster Defense becomes even poorer Does our offense pick up that significantly? Amare may give you - 20/10 from the PF Position but It costs you points by Artest, Landry, Brooks not to mention their Defense Miller - cost you on the defensive end more than he makes up for on the offensive end. VC is pretty much the same as Miller unless something else comes along .. . I say we need to sit T-Mac down and let everyone else simply RUN THE D*MN OFFENSE! as someone pointed out .. Artest does not seem to be as much a ball stopper when T-Mac is not in there Rocket River
I agree. Amare SUCKs defensively. We would be selling our future for an Immature player. you can only look to Dallas (sucks) last year and see what happens when you give up your future (D. Harris) for superstars.
If he needs to sit out that long he should just sit out until next year for whatever team he plays for.
It depends on Tmac...do the Rockets think he is coming back and can get healthy, if the answer is yes...then you have to trade Artest. DD

Agree. Rather shut him down than having him playing on one leg and not being affective. Better to develop Wafer now as insurance while weathering the Tmac's drama or at least buy him some more time for him to make up his mind.
If trade AB,Landry,Artest ,Head for Amare, I bet YAo will not resign Rox . I want to say; the only thing we have to do is to bench Tmac
With T-mac we HAD a go to guy, the knew how to run the offense, get others involed, and score at the same time. ARTEST, VInce, AMARe, nor MILLER have that special ability! Now the only thing we have is YAO Ming to go to and produce and offense and everyone feeds off of that. I kinda like the idea of that, only if we can have ppl that can knock down that open shot. Battie and alston are really laggy this year, and they havent done much. If we run everything thru YAO, i think the guys in the likes of AMare and Miller. or even Vince can flourish if they do that, thus makin it easy for the rest of the guys to play good to. WE just need a jolt, cuz we have the talent to go out there and compete day in and day out! Gett er done MOREY!..NO ARTeST TRADE, get TWAC outta here!
Count me in. NONE of these trades sound good for us at all. I don't care what any of these BB knowitalls think they know ... Take your chances, play hard, see what happens with the guys we got. If Ron doesn't work out, ya wanna cut him loose ... then ya got his cap space to use next year, whatever. Miller is crap. A lifelong scrub. If he's given to us for Head, then fine. Carter isn't worth it, & Amare will cost too much. STAND
trust me, not the good idea, if we win without tmac, he will come back sooner than you think, if we struggle,,, tmac will come back as later as you can't imagine. this guy want glory , not respondbility.
