I can't think of any reason to hate on the man. Age is just quickly catching up to him, is all. I wish him the best, except when he's against the red astronauts.

I wonder how his convo with Gay would be like...

i still cant believe all we traded him for was thabeet and a pick. we could have traded him to chicago for keith bogans. battier would be the PERFECT fit in chicago.

 

I would have loved Morey to package Battier and Hayes along with myself to Chicago so I could enjoy a physical defensive minded team and a cool breezy summer.

Swing defenders are NOT difficult to find. A big man with the potential to absolutely shut down the paint is quite rare. Thabeet was the right trade for that reason alone.
