How is this guy even in the NBA? The way he's playing, he wouldn't even make a ****ing JV team in high school. Look at this **** from just yesterday... What the **** is Silas thinking putting this Pillsbury Doughboy in and taking away minutes from others?
Nix is just here to remind us that hard work and talent don’t matter. It’s how much your boss likes you that does.
I’m trying to catch myself before saying nasty things about rockets players. They’re people. And I’m rooting for everyone to succeed. I have no real I’ll will towards Nix. But I think the org has serious error in judgment by elevating him and giving so many minutes over guys with much more potential and who have earned the right for more playing time. I don’t see an nba-caliber player. If anyone needs another G-league stint it’s Nix not Christopher. This situation goes in my wtf column when evaluating Stone and Silas. I think it boils down to Stone’s ego and Silas’ stubbornness. It’s obviously not working but I’ll be damned if Stone or Silas admit what is so apparent to everyone else.
Coach Silas: JGup bye - TyTy Bye - Tari/KJ y’all don’t need many minutes either let’s play nix, Tate, EG, and Mathews because their development is the focus Winter is coming… prepare yourselves
Give it some time. I have seen those other threads, but my blood is boiling over for this ****ing Sideshow Bob to be on the floor.
1st 15+ pages of that thread is basically nothing but praise for Chips…he’s got instincts u can’t teach, he has potential, he’s the type of PG we need, etc same thing happened with Gary Matthews and Mason Jones scrubs get exalted, then reality hits and they’re hated
CF's has a unhealthy fascination with scrubs. but it's mostly the same folks over and over that continue to curse these players. You know if they have their co sign, it's generally not going to turn out well for that player
Very surprised it took this long for this thread. What is also apparent is that the Wenby campaign is real for the Rockets if they continue to play Nix and fans choose not to see the obvious, another lost year.
