    I hate the Dallas Mavericks.

I hate that this team has an owner who constantly derides and belittles the league when things don't go his way. An owner who bullies referees into calling a game the way he wants them to.

I hate that this team cheats to win, flops, cries, and free throws their way to victory after victory.

I hate that they are constantly rewarded for this behaviour. I have never had this much venom for a team since the Jazz in the 90's.

I hate that their superstar is not clutch and flops his way to point after point-yet he is given praise that Yao Ming could never receive but works and plays three times as hard for.

I hate that their superstar and apparent leader pulls faces and screams after every point, shows a smugness and arrogance that contradicts his WNBA level agression.

I hate that they seem to catch every break imaginable, even when they don't deserve it.

I hate this team, partly because they are still a good team that shoots well and has great chemistry. But mostly because they prove that nice guys finish last.

I hate them, and i can't wait for the Rockets to rip their hears out in the playoffs next season.

I hate everything about the city of Dallas. Especially their fans. Slandballa, you know which one I talk about. Thats a city that produces the most annoying panzies in the world, just look at Cuban.

Spurs have always been a classy organization, even before TD. They were good and were class acts. You have to respect that team. Especially since they are pretty much a blueprint for a championship unless you are like Dallas who will just pay for a championship (3 or 4 max contracts on one team, IIRC).

    I hate the Mavs!

No Spurs means no Eva Longoria.

    Eva's face > Cuban's face

I'm happy the Mavericks won the series.
Now I hope they get swept in the next round by the Suns.

I don't know what I dislike more about the Spurs... how much they whine on the court, or how many people (that probably dont know any player in the league personally enough to judge their character) describe them as "classy."

Well you go with what you got. For example, the Spurs players dont try to punch other players in the jewels. And their owner does not get on the news and start talking mess about the rival city.

You know what I hate? People who whine all the time about some team's players whining.

See, here's the thing. I can totally understand not liking Dirk. Hell, I don't like him although he has an amazing shooting touch.

But to compare him to Malone, he of the concussion-giving life-threathing knees and elbows just shows that you don't know much about the Utah-Houston rivalry of the 90's. No way that comparison is made from one who understands the utter vileness of Malone. Dirk may flop a lot but at least he doesn't try to injure other players.

If the Mavs equals the Jazz, I couldn't be happier. We got 2 trophies, the Jazz has none.

You know, I usued to be a Mavs fan.

    Nash
    NVE
    Finley
    Dirk
    LaFrentz

What an awesome lineup and fun style they had. Then, Nash left, and everything changed. Dirk became a whining baby, Johnson came on board, Cuban turns evil, Finley's out of bound reach, and then, game 7. I simply can't like the Mavs anymore. But, it's OK. I am a fan of the Houston Rockets. My team has Yao and Tmac. No matter how far they go, we will see them next year and many years to come.

    Sign me up.

I've hated the Mav's for years. Dallasites take bandwagonning to unprecedented levels. Who in their right mind admitted to being a Mav's fan before the late 90's? Nobody.

    Dallas = LA South.

    Go Pistons/Heat!

Well this is one scary Mav team. So much speed and athleticism, they just had more weapons than the spurs. It is quite annoying seeing them rewarded for thier flops and whining at all levels, but this team is stacked, and is one of the most talented teams in the league. I am confident they will beat the suns easily in 6.
Who ever comes out of the east will bully the mavs in to submission. If there is one glaring weakeness of the teams is that they become rattled quickly, a team like the pistons or heat can bully every player on the mavs. As whiny as he is, Cuban did what ever it took to win, and he finally beat the spurs.

How many points/rebounds/assists did Cuban have? Oh, and how was his defense? Cuban is a tool.
