Not to be uncouth, but sh-t or get off the pot, Jeff, so we can get on with our lives. I'm sick of having to check cc.net every five seconds. Take the freaking job already! Or don't! just do something.

Obviously the man needs more than a minute to decide to uproot his family and take on a high-stakes, high-expectations, high-pressure head coaching job, but I too am getting tired of waiting anyway. Fortunately, today is Friday. In a half-hour I will go home and not think about basketball again till Monday.

Well lets put it this way, if Jeff doesn't take this job, he is going to have an anti-Jeff fan club in Houston: D

Yeah, he will shoot past Larry Brown and will not be able to coach or broadcast here without a security guard ever again!

I agree. I can't wait for this to be over so we can go back to all of the rediculous trade threads.

What would it take to get Shaq and Kobe?:D

Well as long as we're agreeing about stuff, Brute force is a pretty cool game and your guys did a pretty good job, fyi.

I was hoping this would already be over with but now I have to suffer another bad weekend like the last one. Sometimes it sucks to be a Rockets fan.

This has been drawn out so long, they're just trying to slowly wipe away the major dissapointment of not getting Larry Brown.

I'm not thrilled about getting Van Gundy or Dunleavy. But, like the man says, **** or get off the pot.

if there wasnt this anticipation, then this ROckets forum would be rather dull, now that its the offseason.

Good point. It's almost that feeling you get when your team is down by 3 with 10 seconds left in the game and they have a chance to tie it up. Francis goes around a pick set by Ming and shoots 3 with a couple secs left. The ball is in mid air with a beautiful arc on it and somebody hits pause on the remote. Thats about where we are right now with the coaching situation. :p

I thoroughly agree with the idea of this thread. I really want Gundy, and I have from the beginning, but at this point I would be happy if Les and CD would just get it over with no matter who they get. The whole situation is just friggin knawing at me, you know?
