I'm just too happy to see Dallas get their butts handed to them and I'm even more happy that this man:

Has been officially exposed as the chump that he is.

To you Dirk, I salute you.

PS-You'll always need Nash to help you up.

LMAO. Man, the Dallas Radio Stations are being AWESOME. They are tearing apart Dirk.

They are talking about Greg Anthony on ESPN questioning Dirk's leadership, and they said this "My god he's right." (regarding the lack of leadership by Dirk).

As a 7' small forward, he was a sensation in the NBA that could shoot and handle the ball with height.

As a 7' power forward that Dallas has tried to convert him into, he's soft, weak, and every other synonym to those words. He's the complete opposite of a leader...does a leader criticize his own center's performance (no matter how poor it was) through the media?

Dirk has become my most hated player in the NBA.

If you think Dirty Dirk 's verbal lash on Dumpier is bad, you should see him going at Jason Terry. He almost went beserk.

So he is a player that cares about winning and losing... I guess I can agree that criticizing a teammate through the media is not good, but really, why all the hate?

Which thing? Dirk calling out Dampier when on the podium with the media?

Or Dirk flailing his arms around in the air screaming at Terry at the end of regulation and then slamming the chair and throwing his towel in anger?

i didn't really have a problem with him calling out dampier. i mean the guys is getting $73M and was playing like crap and playing lazy. that's when a team captain should call someone out and make them show up or get ridiculed. but he did go overboard on terry (even though terry was stupid to back up to guard the drive instead of either foul or get up on the 3). neither of those really bothered me though.

it's the constant flailing and flopping and expecting every call i can't stand. and the way he got so mad and started forcing things in OT was horrible for the mavs. and good for me. he definitely deserves criticism for coming apart like that.

Dirk going nuts on Terry showed what kind of hypocrite he was. The Mavs wouldn't even have been close if it weren't for Terry. Dirk doesn't hit jack all game, screams at Terry, the team's leading scorere of the game, and then disappears in OT. Not only that, he tried flopping his way to the FT line instead of actually attempting to score the entire game. What a completely soft and usless piece of crap. I can't stand that guy and I'm glad he's a Maverick. Mavs fans truly deserve a piece of work like that.

You know, there are quite a few players on the Mavericks I grew to hate over that series. Josh Howard's whole demeanor made me want to strangle him. Same with Marquis Daniels. Something about Jerry Stackhouse drove me nuts too. Dampier was pissing me off at first because of all his talk about being the second best center in the league, but then I just kind of felt sorry for him after he got schooled all series.

However, I don't hate Nowitzki or Terry. I just can't. Nowitzki is a hell of a player. I agree he may not be the player than carry a team to a championship, but there are how many people in the league capable of doing that? Not many. That's no knock on him. Jason Terry has been unbelievable in the playoffs. I think he's been playing way over his head. I don't see how Nowitzki or anybody can blame him for anything. As far as I'm concerned, they'd have never gotten past the Rockets without Terry.

I just don't really understand why you guys hate Nowitzki. He's not a dirty player like Malone or Stockton. Sure, he occasionally flops, but so does Yao.

u did not just put our Yao Ming in with Irk NoDefenski. Yao does not, does not flop as much as Irk does if at all.

Flopping is essentially a way of trying to fool the refs into gifting you a call that you otherwise probably would not get. It is a lying cheating disrespect to the game itself. Even on blacktop courts with circus fools doing stupid And1 moves, nobody ever flops. And if they did they would get their ass clowned off the court and kicked the curb. Real players who have enough pride in their games and respect for their opponents don't ever flop. Only p*****s feel the need to do so.

Yao does not flop. Dirk, however, does and he does so often. In fact, it has apparently evolved into his pet go-to move.

Threads like this are the reason I do not love the Rockets like I used to. I found this site and was happy that I had found others out there who loved the Rockets as much as I did. It was a bunch of fans who had been there before and during the championship runs and still loved them even though they were down, like me. Then, we win the lottery and draft Yao and a whole new disrespectful fanbase who completely turned me off on the team I had loved for so long. I did not want to be associated with these clowns and day after day my love for the team waned. These fans ran Rudy T, Steve F, Cat and every other player or coach that was here when Yao arrived out of town. For what? If I am not mistaken we missed the playoffs by 1 game Yaos first year while Rudy T dealt with cancer. Yao's second Year we won 1 game in the playoffs. This his third year we won 2 games. WE HAVE IMPROVED BY 2 GAMES OVER 3 YEARS. We HAVE RAN OFF THE IDENTITY OF THIS FRANCHISE IN THE PROCESS. The most important part of that statement is there is not 1 player or coach who was here when we drafted Yao. There is not that bridge group of players or coaches who lead you from one era to another. We have a bunch of vagabon, ragtag, free agent players who have bounced around the league and Yao. Our front office is a joke for caving in to this new group of fans demand and I am now officially a free agent fan. This is somthing any current Rocket or Yao fan should understand. Its all about my favorite players stats, not the team. If they do not realease me I will demand a Trade to another teams fan base, Tracy fans should understand that. Hell, you all hated Steve for trying to be loyal. My support couldn't lead this team to a championship or even first round win so I will hook up with another fanbase where I will probally still fail cause my support just isn't enough in the playoffs, Know what I mean Tracy fan? Or maybe I will be just be an average fan my whole rooting career, but i will run off all the other better fans my whole rooting career, because someone thinks I have the potential because of my big mouth and huge hands to cheer really loud one day even though I have barely clapped loud enough where the guy next to me could here it, Know what I mean Yao fan? So goodbye all oldschool Rockets and I feel what you are going through now. The good news is there is no loyalty left in this league so you are free to go where you wish. Good luck to all who stay, but the 7'6" stump and playoff r****dent guard will lead you nowhere.
